Margie Nell Hubbard

Mrs. Margie Nell McElhannon Hubbard, 70, died April 2, 2013 at her daughter’s home.A native of Lexington, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Pearl Whittington McElhannon.She was also preceded in death by her husband, Grover Cleveland Hubbard and son-in-law, Larry Davis.Mrs. Hubbard was a retired machine operator in the textile industry and a member of The Rock United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be Sunday, April 7th at 2:00pm in Rock UMC Cemetery with Rev. Ralph Arnold and Rev. Donnie Berry officiating.Lamar Berry, Chuck Berry, Scotty Winfrey, Johnny Winfrey, Kenny Poss, Billy Hopkins and James Arnold will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include two daughters, Jackie Davis, Crawford and Michelle (Eddie) Arnold, Lexington; one son, Keith (Sonnie) Hubbard, Rayle; five sisters, Dorothy Callaway, Rayle, Ruby Arnold, Rayle, Sally Mae Arnold, Lexington, Faye Johnson, Gray, Martha Williford, Crawford; one brother, James McElhannon, Palm Springs, CA; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 – 8:00pm at the funeral home.
