Marcia Lynn Edwards

Mrs. Marcia Lynn Oakley Edwards, 56, of Skull Shoals Rd., passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016, at her home. Mrs. Edwards was born in Oklahoma City, OK, and is the daughter of George Oakley and of the late Bess McClure Oakley.She was a former seamstress and plant manager, and served in the U.S. Navy, where she was an E-5 Parachute Rigger. Mrs. Edwards is survived by her husband, Irby C. Edwards, of Washington; two daughters, Brandi Thompson, of Bellingham, WA, and Michelle Grimes, of Atlanta; her father, George Oakley, of Silver City, NM; one step-son, Kyle Edwards, of Cumming; one niece, Marcia Davis, of Midlothian, VA; and by one grandson, Benjamin Grimes.
