Miss Lynsy Erin Floyd, 29, of Hill St., entered into rest on Friday, October 8, 2021, at the McDuffie/University Hospital in Thomson. Miss Floyd was born in Augusta, but had lived in Washington all of her life.She was the daughter of Obie Floyd and of the late Mary Elizabeth Tuttle Floyd.She was a graduate of Wilkes Academy High School, and was a member of the Newtown Baptist Church. She is survived by her father, Obie Floyd, of Washington; one sister, Kaytlyn Floyd, of Waynesboro, PA; Maternal grandfather, Walter Tuttle, of Washington, and maternal grandmother, Cathie Jenkins, Milton, FL; her aunt, Catiel T. Felts(Charlie), of Navarre, FL, and cousin Ariel Thilenius, Scottsdale, AZ; two uncles, Stephen Floyd,(and cousins Gabriel Floyd and Amelia Floyd),of Raleigh, NC, and Michael Floyd (and cousin Bonnie Kate Floyd), of Miami, FL. Graveside services will be 11:00am Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Carl Neubaum officiating.
