Luisa Quisel

Ms. Luisa Quisel, 94, of Washington, entered into rest on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Harper’s Personal Care Home. Ms. Quisel was born in the Phillipines to Pio Lao Herrera and Josefa Gonzales Quisel, and had lived in this community since 1998.She had a Bachelors in Nursing, and was a retired nurse. She also held the position of hospital administrator in the Phillipines during her career. She was of the Catholic faith, and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington. She is survived by three daughters, June Q. Corton and Jane Q. Santelices, both of the Phillipines, and Julie Q. Hill, and husband Bob, of Crawfordville; and six grandchildren, Andrea Hill, Zachary Hill, Matthew Santelices, Myka Santalices, Junes Corton, and Janice Corton. Memorial services will be held in the Phillipines at a later date. Hopkins Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Luisa Quisel.
