Mrs. Lucille Hopkins Bailey, 95, of Washington, died July 4, 2013 in Georgia Regents Medical Center.A native of Wilkes County, she was the daughter of the late John David and Mary Jane Brown Hopkins.Mrs. Bailey was a homemaker and a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Cary Wills Bailey and a grandson, Patrick Bailey. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 6th at 3:30pm in Rehoboth Baptist Church with Rev. George Walton and Rev. Rob Cohen officiating.Grandsons, Marc Walton, Mike Watson, John David Bailey, Chris Bailey, Manuel Bailey and Jason Bailey will serve as pallbearers.Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Karen B. Walton and her husband, George, of Olivia, N.C. and Eleanor Watson and her husband, Dorsey, of Roswell; two sons, Herbert W. Bailey, and his wife, Donna, of Washington and Winston Bailey, and his wife, Patsy of Washington; two sisters, Mary Belle Adkinson, of Windsor, S.C. and Elsie Rogers, of Augusta; thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and eleven great, great grandchildren. The family will receive friends in the church Saturday from 2:30 until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to Rehoboth Baptist Church, c/o Alan Ivey, 3028 Lovelace Rd. Lincolnton, GA. 30817.
