Louie G Hubbard

Mr. Louie Gene Hubbard, 70, of Washington, died Saturday, June 30, 2012 in St. Mary’s Hospital.A native of Union Point, Georgia, he was the son of the late Raymond and Mary Evelyn Wilson Hubbard.Mr. Hubbard was retired from Anthony Forest Products where he worked in quality control.He attended First Baptist Church of Washington, where he worked with the R.A.’s for many years. Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 3rd in Resthaven Cemetery at 11:00a.m. with Rev. Chris Townsend officiating.Eddie Rogers, Bruce Rogers, Robby West, Jim West, Shelton West and Mike Sisson will serve as pallbearers.Former co-workers, Otis Callaway, Brian Callaway, Warren Newsome, Jr., Donnie Crawford, Tommy Howard, Sam Paradise, Robert Stevens and Robbie Hardigree will serve as honorary pallbearers. Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Mary West Hubbard; daughter, Wanda Jean Hubbard, of Washington; sons and daughter in law, Daniel Ray “Danny” Hubbard, of Toccoa and Dean Anthony and Debbie Hubbard, of Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Belle Williams Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church, Washington or the American Heart Association.
