Loudelle W. Johnson

Mrs. Loudelle Wheatley Johnson, 90, of Sandy Cross, died September 1, 2011 at her home.She was the daughter of the late Harvey Lee and Navada Blakey Wheatley and the widow of W.Y. “Buck” Johnson.Mrs. Johnson was a retired supervisor from Royal Manufacturing as well as a dairy farmer. She was a member of Sandy Cross Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Grace Wheatley Weber, Elizabeth Wheatley Bailey and Margese Wheatley Garrett, brother, Harvey Lee Wheatley, Jr. nieces, Gail Weber Taylor, Pam Wheatley Land and nephew, Joey Wheatley. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 4, 2011 at 3pm in Sandy Cross Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Davison officiating.Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery.Carl Chapman, Richard McAvoy, Bryan Partain, Thad Register, Tim Taylor, Chris Thornton, Greg Thornton, Wade Walker, Will Wommack and Scott Walker will serve as pallbearers Survivors include Brothers in law, Tommy Garrett and T.A. “Coot” Johnson and sister in law, Helen Johnson Miller, nine nieces and two nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7-9pm at Hopkins Funeral Home.
