Mrs. Lou Ann Brown, 58, of Rayle, died April 10, 2013 in Harbor Grace Hospice.A native of Taylorsville, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late William Solomon and Katherine Hudgens Brown. She was a dance instructor for over thirty years and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 13th at 2:00PM in the Brown Family Cemetery in Rayle with Minister Danny McKnight officiating.Entombment will follow.Mike Reagan, Doug Howard, Ricky Mercier, Clyde Whittington, Bob Altman and Jake Buff will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include her husband of forty two years, Steve Brown; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marci Annand Josiah Breneman, of Lavonia and Cynthia Jean and Darren Altman, of Rayle; one son, Stacy David Brown, of Rayle; two grandchildren, Kayleigh and Wyatt Brown; sister, Jean (Bud) Hall, of Ellijay; brother, Gerald (Connie) Brown, of Atlanta; niece, Sherry Brown and nephew, Perry Brown. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
