Lorene S. Collins Obituary Tignall:Mrs. Bessie Lorene Smith Collins, 90, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at Wills Memorial Hospital.She was a native of Elbert County, and was the daughter of the late Ed Chapman Smith and Lollie Mercier Smith. Mrs. Collins was a homemaker and a member of the Mallorysville Baptist Church in Tignall.She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Collins. Funeral services will be Friday, September 7, 2010, at 4:00 pm at the Mallorysville Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Berry officiating.Mark Thornton, Zack Brooks, Brayden Rice, Nick Veal, Ken Rice and Joe Burton will serve as pallbearers.Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park in Elberton. Survivors include one sister, Virginia “Jenny” Grimes, of Elberton; two nephews, Bobby (Vivie Ann) Wilson, of Tignall, and Waymon (Sandra) Worley, of Elberton; a niece, Carol Sims, of Elberton; and a number of great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 3:00pm until service time.
