Lois Theis

Mrs. Lois Lyles Theis, 89, of Thomson Rd., died Monday, July 13, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Theis was born in Cullman, AL, was the widow of Mr. Robert L. Theis, and was the daughter of the late Harold D. Lyles and Erie Holmes Lyles.She worked for the Ford Motor Company as an administrative coordinator until retirement.She and husband Bob moved to Wilkes County in 1987 and made their home here for about 28 years.She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, July 16, 2015, 2:30 p.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Stephen Lyness officiating. Mrs. Theis is survived by one son, Ronald Theis (Patti), of Lincoln, NE; three daughters, Bobbie Theis Seitner (Chip), of Omaha, NE,Vicki Theis Mulherin (Thomas), of Evans, GA, and Torri Theis Gulledge (Mike), of Dothan, AL; one sister, Lucile Whitlow, of Anderson, SC; six grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
