Lois Bufford Sale

Mrs. Lois Bufford Sale, 88,of Delhi Rd., died Saturday, December 8, 2012, at her home.Mrs. Sale was born in Tignall, and lived in this community all of her life.She was the wife of the late Robert Sale, and the daughter of the late Ethell and Pearl Rucker Bufford.She was a bookkeeper for a number of years for the Medical Clinic in Washington, and was a member of the Independence UMC in Tignall.She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janelle Sale Wolfe.Graveside services will be Monday, December 10, 2012, at 3:00 at the Independence United Methodist Church Cemetery in Tignall with Rev. Virginia Best and Rev. Ben Walker officiating. Michael Sale, Ronald Wolfe, Andrew Wolfe, Josh Banta, Nathan Gibson and Lee Jones will serve as pallbearers.Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Mason Sale and Danny Gibson.Mrs. Sale is survived by two daughters, Marjorie S. Gibson, of Dallas, GA, and Peggy Sale of the home; one son, David (Gloria) Sale, of Dewy Rose; and one sister, Evelyn Bufford Oglesby, of Elberton; five grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.The family will receive friends Sundayfrom 6-8 at Hopkins Funeral Home in Washington.
