Linda Marie McCarter of Rayle, GA passed on September 22, 2024 at Quiet Oaks Personal Care Home at the age of 65. She was born on July 8, 1959 in Rome, NY, the daughter of the late Frederick Wheadon and Joann Monette Wheadon. Linda worked as an activities director.

She is survived by a son Robert Joseph Kirk, Jr. and his wife Jessica of Rayle, GA, a daughter Danielle McCarter of Northport, AL, and a sister Kare Proper of Camden, NY.
