Linda Denard

Mrs. Linda Ann Demastes Denard, 63, of Independence St., died Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the Elbert County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Denard was born in Greenood, SC, and had lived in Wilkes County for most of her life.She was the daughter of James E. and Sara Bolton Demastes, and was the widow of Ernest Everett Denard, Sr.She was a homemaker and was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 30, 2011, at 11:00 am at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Callaway officiating.Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Denard is survived by one son, Ernest Everett Denard, Jr.(Sherrye) of Tignall; one daughter,Tami D. Pruitt(Mark), of Royston; one brother, James E. Demastes, Jr., of Washington; one sister, Debra D. Thomason(Bobby), of Elberton; and six grandchildren, Mathew Wilson, Drew Bradford, Rhett Denard, Hope Bradford, Faith Bradford, and Grant Denard. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8pm at Hopkins Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Beulah Baptist Church, or to the charity of your choice.
