Mrs. Linda Faye Callaway Ansley, 73, of Grant Dr. in Washington, passed away Friday, October 4, 2019. Mrs. Ansley was born in Greensboro, Ga., and was the daughter of Lawrence Felton Callaway and Annette Ogletree Callaway, and was the wife of Alton D. “Sonny” Ansley.She was the secretary for Ansley’s Garage for a number of years, then helped her husband with his business after that.She attended Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Alton D. “Sonny” Ansley, of Washington; two daughters, Lisa A. Dunnaway, and husband Wade, of Washington, and Laura A. Mann, and husband Ronnie, also of Washington; two sisters, Emily C. Dunn, and husband James, of Thomson, and Gloria C. McAvoy, and husband Billy, also of Washington; and one brother, Billy Callaway, and wife Emily, of Greensboro. Graveside services will be 3:00 Sunday afternoon, October 6, 2019, at Resthaven Cemetery with Rev. Richard Broom officiating.The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 pm at Hopkins Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Danny Padgett, Wade Hall, Jerry Dunn, Larry Callaway, James Dunn, and Johnny McAvoy. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt.
