Lillie Mae Granade

Mrs. Lillie Mae ‘Baby Lillie’ Granade, 84, of Bogart, Georgia passed away Monday, February 16, 2015.A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Edward and Janie Mae Booth Jones.Mrs. Granade attended the University of Georgia and was a retired UGA Sorority House Mother.She was a former member of the Washington Church of the Mediator. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 18th in Hopkins Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Reviere officiating.Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery.Gene Granade, Gene Hopkins, Chip Hardin, Page Prater II, Bobby Jones, and Al Lamar will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include one son, Joseph Eugene Granade, of the home; one daughter, Jane Granade Prater, of Thomson; three grandchildren, Andrea Prater, Leigh Prater and Page Prater II; four great grandchildren, Prater Thigpen, Riley Robinson, Logan Prater and Billie Page Brooks, all of Thomson; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:30 – 1:30pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
