Leroy Robinson

Mr. Le Roy Walker Robinson, Jr. of Tignall, died October 19, 2013 in Athens Regional Hospital.A native of Atlanta, Georgia, he was the son of Le Roy Walker Robinson and the late Margery O’Neil Smith Robinson.Mr. Robinson was an attorney and served in the U.S. Army JAG Corps during the Viet Nam era, achieving the rank of Captain. A private graveside service will be held in the Robinson Family Cemetery. Survivors include his Father, Le Roy Walker Robinson, of Tignall; 3 sons, Le Roy ‘Tripper’ Walker Robinson III, of Augusta, Daniel Hammond Robinson and his wife, Ashley, of Augusta, and Walker Lee Robinson, of Tignall; 2 daughters, Jessica Robinson Halminski and husband, Andrew of Eagle, Colorado; and Maggie Mae Robinson, of Dahlonega; 2 brothers, William Warren Robinson and his wife, Frances, of Tignall and Jesse Lynwood Robinson of Tignall; 5 grandchildren, Paige Robinson, Riley Robinson, Gracie Halminski, Abbie Halminski and Cole Robinson; special friend, Eileen Janie Barnwelll; and his dog, ‘Toby Robinson’.
