Leroy Hunt, Jr. Mr. Leroy Hunt, Jr., 82, of Washington, died May 25, 2009 at McDuffie Regional Medical Center.He was a native of McDuffie County and the son of the late Amie Leroy Hunt, Sr. and Doris Lazenby.Mr. Hunt was a welder and a member of God Mine Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 2pm in Hopkins Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Rayner officiating.Interment will follow in Rehoboth Church Cemetery.Barry Hunt, Judson Lazenby, Kevin Hunt, Daniel Thurmond, John Thurmond and Marvin Blackburn will serve as pallbearers.Herbert Bailey, Tim Satterfield, Tommy Bennett, Mike Wheatley and Charles Cosby will serve as honorary pallbearers. Survivors include his wife, Sadie Raffini Hunt; one brother, John Hunt, Warner Robins; three sisters, Dorothy Callahan (Jimmy) Covington, Carolyn Clements, Warner Robins and Annette Heisick, Minn, MN; several nieces and nephews.
