Leonora O. Lunsford

Mrs. Leonora Ogletree Lunsford, 94, of Washington, died August 9, 2009 in University Hospital.She was a native of Taliaferro County, the daughter of the late Othur B. and Elma Dunn Ogletree.Mrs. Lunsford was a retired sewing machine operator for Royal Manufacturing and a member of Phillips Mill Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lunsford. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 11:00am in Hopkins Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Rayner officiating.Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Survivors include 3 daughters, Patricia Propes, Ellenwood, Annie Norene Strickland, Cartersville and Ruth (Edward C.) Doughty, Fairfax, VA; 2 sisters, Shirley (John) Cowart, Powder Springs and Alma Fuller, Avondale Estates; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday one hour prior to service time. Memorial contributions may be made to Phillips Mill Baptist Church.
