Leonard Thomas Mazurick

Mr. Leonard Thomas Mazurick, 81, of Aonia Rd. in Washington, entered into rest on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at his home.

Mr. Mazurick was born in Scranton, Pa.  He was the son of the late Walter and Margaret Shumka  Mazurick, and was the widower of Lucy Mulea Mazurick.  He and his cousin did a lot of traveling, decided to settle in Washington, and had lived here for the last four and a half years.  He was a truck driver during his working years, and was of the Catholic Faith.

He is survived by his cousin and traveling partner, Rosemary Giordano, of Washington; two great grandchildren, Noah Ross and Lila Ross; and one niece, Denise Beery, of North Carolina; and was preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia and Christine, and by two brothers, Thomas Mazurick and Walter Mazurick.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date in Scranton, Pa.
