Len Fickling

Crawfordville: Mr. Len Fickling, 73, of Sandy Cross Rd., died Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at the VA Medical Center in Augusta. Mr. Fickling was born in Los Angeles, CA, and was the son of the late Wilford and Laura Lee Johnson Fickling.He was an electrician, and was a U. S. Air Force Veteran. Memorial services will be held July 11, 2015, at Hopkins Funeral Home in Washington, GA.Servicesbegin at 2:00 pm on Saturday with Rev. Arthur Key officiating.A reception will be held afterwards at the New Life Baptist Church, 808 E. Robert Toombs Ave., in Washington. Mr. Fickling is survived by his wife, Marie Schwartz Fickling, of the home; three daughters, Renata O’Connor, of Riverside, CA, Rhonda Fickling, of San Francisco,, and Beth Bailey, of Pittsville, MA; one son, William French (Diana), of Irvine, CA; seven grandchildren;two brothers, Bill Fickling (Noni), and Bruce Fickling, both of San Clemente, CA; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn McQuaid (Ken), of Stafford Springs, CT, and Lana Commo (Ron), of Toccoa. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
