Lee Barnwell

Mrs. Lee Ellison Barnwell, 74, of Washington, died September 21, 2009 in University Hospital.She was a native of Honey Grove, Texas.She was the widow of Dr. Paul Barnwell and a retired secretary from her husband’s chiropractic practice. Graveside services will be Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 10:00am in Washington-Wilkes Memorial Gardens with Mr. Ronnie Lindsey officiating. Jackson Hardy, David Carrell, Eric Penvose, Stephen Penvose, Barry Strother and Randy Strother will serve as pallbearers.Immediately following the graveside service, friends may join the family at the home on Danburg Road for a Memorial Service. Survivors include four daughters, Paula Carrell and husband, Eddie, Knoxville, TN, Laurie Barnwell, Washington, Eileen Walters, and husband, Jim, Washington, and Jessica Hardy, and husband, Gary, Washington; one son, Dr. Phillip Barnwell, and wife, Pam, Houston, TX; two sisters, Ruby Robinson and Sherri Latigo, both of Texas; sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home
