Laura Godwin Kuffrey

Ms. Laura Godwin Kuffrey, 64, of Doe Run Rd. in Tignall, entered into rest on May 1, 2022, at the Augusta University Medical Center. Ms. Kuffrey was born in Jacksonville, N.C., and had lived in Tignall for about 15 years.She was the daughter of Mack Godwin and Alice Powell Godwin, and was a member of the Danburg Baptist Church. Laura is survived by her loving partner, Steve Wood, of Tignall; one sister, Claire Godwin, of Mobile Ala.; and by one brother, Jeff P. Godwin. Memorial services will be 2:00p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2022, at the Danburg Baptist Church with Rev. Ficklen Guin officiating. Hopkins Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Laura G. Kuffrey.
