Mr. Lance Wayne Dees, age 48, of Vidalia, died Wednesday, July 5, 2023, Memorial Health in Savannah following a lengthy illness.  He was a native of Washington, Georgia and was a 1993 graduate of Washington-Wilkes High School.  He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from Georgia Southern University.  He was Baptist by faith, he enjoyed football, especially Georgia and Georgia Southern, and he enjoyed people.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Sara Ann Lance Dees.

His family includes his parents, Wayne and Linda Dees of Vidalia; one sister, Meredith Lynn Dees of Washington; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The graveside funeral service will be Sunday, July 9th, at 2:00 p.m. at Clifford Grove Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at Clifford Grove Church Cemetery from 1:00 until just prior to the service.
