Keith James Clark

August 1, 1946 — September 7, 2024

Keith James Clark, 78, of Tignall, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his home on September 7, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 1, 1946, in Wilmington, Delaware to James Dillard Clark and Dilys Davies Clark.

Keith was a beloved husband to Jane, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and cherished memories. He was a devoted father who instilled values of honesty, integrity, and hard work in his children. His love for them knew no bounds, and he took great pride in watching them grow into successful individuals.

In addition to his role as a loving husband and father, Keith was also a doting grandfather to nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. His face would light up with joy whenever he was in their presence, and his love for them was unconditional.

Keith spent his career dedicated to the paint and body industry, where he poured his heart and soul into his craft. His commitment to excellence was unparalleled, and his work spoke volumes about his passion for his profession. Outside of his professional life, Keith was an avid lover of nature, his hobbies included trapping, hunting, and frequent trips to the mountains, where he found peace and solace. He was an active member of the Georgia Trappers Association, and was inducted into the Georgia Trappers Association Hall of Fame in 1995.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Proctor Clark, of Tignall: one son, Jimmy Clark, and wife, Dianne of Tignall: two daughters, Benita C. Rzad, and husband, Eric of Madison, Tish C. Scott, and husband Bob of Elberton; nine grandchildren, Kurston Smith, Sabin Clark (Alicia), Makala S. Lyon (Logan), Gibb Cooper (Nicci), Niki C. West (Chris), Taylor Cooper, Morgan Scott, Jessica Lee, and Jackie Lee; six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dean Clark and his sister, Teresa Reynolds.
