Kathryn Lynn Padgett

Mrs. Kathryn Lynn Hilborn Padgett, of Redwood Lane, 64, died Thursday morning, September 11, 2008, at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Padgett was a native of Springfield, OH, and had lived in this community for 31 years.She was the wife of Sherman “Skip” Padgett, and was the daughter of the late Charles Hilborn and Frances Van Ronk Hilborn.She was a homemaker and a member of the Phillips Mill Baptist Church. Mrs. Padgett is survived by her husband, Sherman Linden “Skip” Padgett, of the home; two sons, Sherman W. Padgett, of N. Charleston, SC, and Charles D. Padgett, of Montgomery City, MO; two daughters, Cassandra L. Padgett, of Rayle, and Dawn E. Davidson, of Columbia, MO; one brother, Howard Hilborn, of Tampa, FL; 12 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 3:00 Sunday at the Phillips Mill Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Rayner officiating.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.Visitation will be Saturday evening from 7-9 at Hopkins Funeral Home in Washington.
