Julia Anne "Judy" Willis Burke

Ms. Julia Anne “Judy” Willis Burke, 77, of Washington, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Burke was born in Augusta, but had lived in Washington most of her adult life.She was the daughter of the late Clarence Hill Willis and Annie Mirian Stephens Willis Hearn, and was the widow of Ace David Burke.She graduated from Harlem High School, and was also abusiness school graduate.She was the office manager at Calibrate, Inc., located in Washington, Ga., for a number of years.She also managed the Washington-Wilkes Country Club Clubhouse and Pro Shop for several years.Judy had many friends in this community, and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her brother, Clarence Hill “Jack” Willis III, and wife Miryam, of Boca Raton, Fl.She was preceded in death by her sister, Mickey Newman, and was survived by several half brothers and sisters, and by a number of friends, cousins, and nephews.
