Judy Thornton Mrs. Judith Goldman Thornton, 54, died June 11, 2009 at her home. She was a native of Lincoln County.Judy was a bus driver and a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Sunday, at 3:00pm, in Rehoboth Baptist Church, with Rev. Steve Rayner officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery.Clint Echols, Bob Oxendine, Ralph Huff, Trent Clark, Caleb Bowling and Chuck Vandiver will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include her husband, Eddie; two daughers and sons in law, Melanie and Bob Oxendine, Watkinsville and Sheila and Trent Clark, Vidalia;two sons and daughter in law, Scott and Amanda Thornton, Commerce and Josh Thornton, Washington; mother and step father, Bernice and Carl Wood; one sister, Julia Binner, Lincolnton; four brothers, Steve Goldman, Lincolnton, Allen Goldman, Lincolnton, Bobby Goldman, Flowery Branch and Kirk Goldman, Lincolnton; mother in law, Wilma Thornton; six grandchildren, Caleb, Amber, Dakota, Colton, Savannah and Garrett.
