Joseph Alexander Price

Mr. Joseph Alexander "Egg" Price, 63, of Washington, entered into rest on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Wills Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Price was born in Macon and had lived most of his life in Washington.  He was the son of the late Virgil M. Price and Vivian Sanders Price, and was the husband of Cyndee Niemann Price.  He was a truckdriver, and had served several years in the Army National Guard.   "Egg" was an excellent guitarist according to many, and had a number of loyal friends.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Price.

He is survived by his wife, Cyndee N. Price, of Washington; two daughters, Tabitha P. Bailey, of Rayle, and Jennifer P. Thompson (Michael), of Harrison,; three sons, Jason Price, Washington, David Price (Nicole), Atlanta, and Brian Price, of Washington; ten grandchildren, Matthew, Dalton, Emilee, Kristopher, Mikey, Alana, Macie, Madolyn, Brantley, and Jacob---with another on the way;  four brothers, Danny Price (Tammy), Jimmy Price (Mary Ann), Buddy Price, and Vince Price (Teresa); and one sister, Marie P. Reeves (Hugh), of N.Augusta, SC.

Memorial services will be at 4:00pm, Sunday, June 26, 2022, at the Hopkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris King officiating.
