John Wayne Crouch

Mr. John Wayne Crouch, 81, of Tignall, entered into rest Thursday, January 6, 2022, at his home. Mr. Crouch was born in Highpoint, NC, to the late Hugh and Lola Crouch.He was the husband of Marjorie G. Bouwens Crouch, and had lived in Wilkes County since 1990.He worked as a window installer in the construction industry.Mr. Crouch was a member of the Tignall Baptist Church, where he was a Deacon Emeritus.He was a Mason and a member of the Hiram Masonic Lodge #51 in Danburg, Ga., frequently attended Lafayette Lodge #23, and was and was an honorary member of the Philomathea Masonic Lodge #25 in Greensboro. Mr. Crouch is survived by his wife, Marge B. Crouch, of Tignall; one daughter, Sherry Lynn Sandlin, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; one son, Kenneth Wayne Crouch, of Tignall; one sister, Doris C. Edmonds, of Lincolnton; and one brother, Hugh Richard Crouch, of Canada. Funeral services will be at 11:00 Monday morning, January 10, 2022, at the Tignall Baptist Church with Rev. Chris King and Rev. Barry McAvoy officiating.Burial will follow at the church cemetery, where Masonic rites will be conducted. The family will receive friends Monday morning at the church for one hour prior to the service (from 10:00 - 11:00). Memorial contributions may be made to the Hiram Masonic Lodge #51.
