Joe W. Bennett Mr. Joe Waiman Bennett, 53, of Lexington Rd. NW, passed away April 17, 2015, in Gibson. Mr. Bennett was born in Milledgeville, and was the son of Earl Bennett and of the late Lyda Jean Hughes.He was a contractor for Reams Enterprises, and was of the Baptist Faith. Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at the Bennett Family Cemetery at the Bennett residence at 2479 Lexington Rd. NW in Crawfordvillewith Mrs. Bertha Evans officiating.The family will receive friends Monday, April 20, 2015, from 6:00-8:00 pm, also at the Bennett residence. Pallbearers will be Larry Baldree, Jimmy Rutherford, Wes Gaines, William Ellington, Jason Gentry, and Mitchell Bennett.Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Allen, David Skinner,Jason Godby, Bailey Gentry, Brandon Bennett,nephews, and brothers at work. Survivors include two daughters, Rosie Allen (Charles), of Gibson, Samantha Esser, of Crawfordville; his father, Earl Bennett, of Crawfordville; three brothers, Greg Bennett, of Perry, Steve Bennett, of Lowndes County, and Ken Bennett, of Buckhead; two sisters, Emily Rutherford and Judy Gentry, of Crawfordville; Six grandchildren, Kaylin Elizabeth Dunn, Gracey Joleen Norris, Bryer Norris, Greenlee Olivia Allen, Brook Ashlyn Esser, and Jacob Alexander Wahl.
