Jessie Bolton Mrs. Jessie Mae Wilson Bolton, 88, of Washington, passed away December 1, 2014 at her home.A native of Wilkes County, she was the daughter of the late James and Georgia Gill Wilson.She was the widow of James Franklin “Jimmy” Bolton and was preceded in death by two sons, Bobby and Dean Bolton.Mrs. Bolton was a homemaker and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 3rd at 3:00pm in Bethel UMC with Rev. Ellis Moore officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery.Grandsons and Great Grandsons, Michael Todd, Trey Morris, Steven Morris, James Bolton, Daniel Morris and D.J. Bentley will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include four sons, Allen Bolton, of Winder, Walter (Carol Ann) Bolton, of Washington, James (Elizabeth) of Rayle, Melvin (Velda) Bolton, of Rayle; one daughter, Rosa Lee Bentley, of Lincolnton; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 21 great, great grandchildren. The family will receive friends in the church from 1:00 until time of service on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church.
