Jessica Alyss Moore, 33, was born August 31, 1987, and went to her heavenly home on Sunday, January 3, 2021. Jessica was a truly beautiful young woman both inside and out, and she was loved and adored by her family, coworkers and a host of friends. She was kind, loving and just a little bit sassy with a personality and contagious laugh that lit up any room she entered. Jessica’s early years were spent in Danburg, Georgia, and then Orlando, Florida where she graduated from East Ridge High School in 2005. Jessica then graduated from Augusta State College in 2013, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Criminal Justice.Jessica was employed by DFACS as a case worker for social services in several local counties serving as an advocate for children. She was always busy at Christmas time making sure these often-forgotten children had gifts to open on Christmas morning.When not working, Jessica enjoyed spending time with her large circle of friends to whom she was fiercely loyal, and they will all miss her dearly for her beautiful, spunky spirit. Jessica is preceded in death by grandparents Joyce Wolfe Moore and Frankie and Raymond Carter as well as by her Aunt Annette Shelton and Great Uncles Philip Huff and Jesse Moore. Jessica will be dearly missed by her parents, Eddie and Ivy Moore and Elaine Carter Moore and grandparents Larry and Margie Moore. In addition, she is loved and survived by her sister Jenn Moore, nephew Kristopher Henry, Aunt Lindsey and Uncle Troy Land, Uncle Addison and Aunt Lynn Carter, Aunt Belinda Carter, Aunt Deborah Guin, Great Aunt Mae Dell Huff, and a host of great uncles and aunts on the Moore side whom she loved but especially enjoyed spending time with Great Uncle Marvin and Great Aunt Bobbi Moore. She was loved dearly by her cousins Adam Shelton, Casey and Stacey Carter, Michael and Casey Land and Tiffany Collins and Jeremy Guin. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 8 at Danburg Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Walton officiating, 164 Bradford Road, Tignall, Georgia. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Interment will be at the Danburg Baptist Church. Masks are required and social distancing will be expected for the sake of everyone's safety.The family thanks you for this!
