Jerry Echols

Mr. Jerry Eugene Echols, 57, of Washington, died May 31, 2011 at his home.He was a native of Washington Georgia, the son of Walter Marion Echols and the late Mary Irene Powell Echols.Mr. Echols had worked in construction as a welder. Graveside services will be Friday, June 3rd at 10am in Washington-Wilkes Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike Wynne officiating.Rusty Howard, Lee Howard, Mike Smith, Marty Smith, Tony Powell and Bob Powell will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include his father, Marion Echols; brother and sister in law, Barry and Cheryl Echols, Washington; sister and brother in law, Sherrell and Joel Stringer, Tampa, Florida; two nephews and three nieces. The family will receive friends at the residence Thursday from 6-8pm.
