Jasper Johnson Mr. Jasper Johnson, 63, of the Metasville Community, died Wednesday at University Hospital in Augusta.He was a native of Wilkes County, the son of the late Hal and Ethel Davis Johnson and a barber by trade.Mr. Johnson was a member of Loco Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Friday at 3:00pm in Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Blackmon officiating.Interment will follow in the Washington Chapel Cemetery.Lewis Hall, Curtis Hall, Danny Matthews, Charles Mayes, Jason Bailey and James Stone will serve as pallbearers.Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bill Mobley, Ed Rhodes, Danny Byrd, Ray Wilson and Bobby Rachels. Survivors include two sons, William (Kathy) Johnson, Tignall and Randall Johnson, Metasville; one daughter, Debra Jordan, Tignall; one sister, Brenda Johnson, Washington; three brothers, Ronnie (Annette) Johnson, Lincolnton, Allen (Linda) Johnson, Lincolnton, and James (Linda) Johnson, Washington; and four grandchildren.
