Janette Land

Mrs. Janette White Land, 74, of Washington, Georgia passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 in University Hospital.A native of McCormick, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late William Lee and Alma Jennings White and the widow of Thomas (Tom) Land.She was also preceded in death bya great granddaughter Angel Land.Mrs. Land was retired from Bi Lo Food Stores. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 31st at 3:00pm in the Victory Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Andrews and Jeremy Kelley officiating.Interment will follow in Washington-Wilkes Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Timothy Alderman, Jeremy Kelley, Michael Land, Rick Roberts, Shawn Land, and Gene Land, Jr. Survivors include three sons and daughters in law, Tommy and Tammy Land, of Washington, Troy and Lin Land, of Tignall, Jeff and Tammie Land of Evans; one daughter and son in law, Janet and Anthony Keve of Athens; two brothers, Raymond (Margaret) White of Lincolnton and Kenny (Debbie) White of New Ellington, S.C.; one sister, Brenda Gail (Thomas) Kalbfleisch, of Ninety-Six, S.C.; thirteen grandchildren, Jennifer (Jeremy) Kelley, Ashley (Rick) Roberts, Jamie (Timothy) Alderman, Michael Land, Stephanie Keve, Elizabeth Keve, Elijah Keve, Laura Keve, Ashley Keve, Nicholas Keve, Breanna Keve, William Keve and Natale Keve; and three great grandchildren, Melanie Brooke Roberts, Emma Faith Kelley and Masyn Roberts. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
