James Alvin "Al" Truitt

James Alvin Truitt Mr. James Alvin “Al” Truitt, 64, of Burton St. in Tignall, died Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at Wills Memorial Hospital. Mr. Truitt was born in Washington and had lived here all of his life.He was the son of the late Alfred and Helen Shedd Truitt, and had been a forklift operator for Hollander, Inc.He was a member of the Tignall Independence United Methodist Church.He was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Adam Truitt, and by his sister, Wanda Truitt Driggers. Al is survived by one daughter, Jessica Truitt, of Tignall; one son, Eric Truitt, of Augusta; and one grandson, Santano Adam Truitt. Memorial services are pending at this time, and will be announced later.
