James Edward Lee

Rev. James Edward (Jim) Lee, 84, of Wills Memorial Drive, entered into rest Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at his home.

Mr. Lee was born in Greenville, SC, to Paul Lee, Sr. and Lucille Reynolds Lee.  He had spent the majority of his life as a minister of faith, spreading the Gospel and the Word of God.  He pastored the Phillips Mill Baptist Church in the late 1970s. Mr. Lee was a veteran of the U.S. Army and of the U.S. Air Force in the 1950s.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachael Marie Leonard Lee.

He is survived by his two daughters, Vickie Lynn Lee Hill, and husband Brad, of Chiefland, Fl., and Sherrie Lee Williams, of Washington; two brothers, William Marion Lee, and wife Joyce, of Grier, SC, and Paul Lee, Jr.,and wife Fran, of Ohio; and by two grandchildren, Christopher Lee Keesee and Kalen Brian Hill.

A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00pm Monday, October 10, 2022, at the Hopkins Funeral Home Chapel.
