James Herman Hutchinson

Mr. James “Jim” Herman Hutchinson, 80, of Lindsey St. in Tignall, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Pruitt Health Care in Washington. Mr. Hutchinson was born in Ithaca, NY, and had lived in Wilkes County for about 17 years.He was the son of the late James William and Evelyn Kingsley Hutchinson, and was a tile setter by trade. He is survived by his partner in life, Betty Dunson, of Tignall; and by Betty’s children, Jesse Ray Dunson (Sherri), Patricia Ann Dunson, and John William Dunson (Laura). Graveside services will be 2:00pm Sunday, February 3, 2019, at the Fishing Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Tignall with Rev. Roy Cates officiating. Hopkins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
