James Hendry III Washington:Mr. James Hart “Jim” Hendry, 61, of Seven Oaks Dr., died Friday, June 18, 2010, at his home. Jim was a lifelong resident of Washington and graduated from Washington-Wilkes High School, and was the son of the late James “Bill” Hendry, Jr. and Charlotte Burnett Hendry.He was a longtime employee at the Pet Milk Company and most recently OMI (Operations Management International), a contractor for the City of Washington.Jim was a member of the Washington First United Methodist Church . He is survived by one son, James “Jay” Hart Hendry IV, of Washington: one daughter, Shala Hendry Phillips, and husband Robert, of Lavonia; two sisters, Debbie H. Engen, and husband Bill, of Newberry, SC, and Sally H. Bufford, and husband Royce, of Washington; two grandchildren, Charlotte Taylor Phillips and Madison Olivia Phillips; and by nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be Friday, June 25, 2010, at 11:00 am at Hopkins Funeral Home.Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 am-11:00am at Hopkins Funeral Home (one hour prior to the service).
