Irene Swann

Watkinsville:Mrs. Irene Holtcamp Swann, 86, died Thursday at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens. Mrs. Swann was born in Douglas, WY, and was the wife of Garnett Swann.She was the daughter of the late Ted Holtcamp and Nora Penn Holtcamp.She and her husband were married on Nov, 9, 1943 in Gretna, LA. They spent about 35 years in Atlanta, and upon retiring,moved to Watkinsville in 1984, where they remained. Graveside services will be Sunday, August 30, 2009, at 3:00 at Resthaven Cemetery in Washington, GA, with Rev. Donnie Berry officiating. Hopkins Funeral Home in Washington, GA, is in charge.There will be no visitation.
