Holly Pauline Harrison

Mrs. Holly Pauline Weaver Harrison, age 95, of Crawfordville, GA died on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Greene Point Nursing Home,Union Point, GA. She was born on July 19, 1925 in Ninety-Six, SC to the late William Andrew Weaver and Bessie Cassell Weaver.Pauline married Dock Harrison of Crawfordville, GA on January 1, 1950.She retired as the Food Services Dietician at Greene Point Nursing Home.After retirement, she returned to Greene Point Nursing Home and worked several years as a nurse’s aid.She was a charter member of Bethel Baptist Church, Union Point. Pauline enjoyed playing guitar and singing gospel music at church with her daughter Faye Brook, and playing guitar and singing with her son Jimmy.She has written several songs.In the 1960s, Pauline and her children, Faye and Jimmy, sang gospel songs on a live weekly radio station. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dock Harrison; and her sister, Louise Weaver Peppers.She is survived by her brother, Harold Weaver (Linda); daughter, Faye Harrison Brook (Bobby) of the Robinson Community; son, Jimmy L. Harrison of Washington; step-son, Calvin Harrison (Judy) of Cairo, GA; five grandchildren, Paula Brook and Taylor Brook of Union Point, Nicki Harrison Dawson (Brian) of Washington, GA, Cindy Harrison Brock and David Harrison (Sherry) of Cairo, GA; and great-grandchildren, Banks Dawson and Etta Kate Dawson, Erica Brock Sessions and Brandon Brock, David Harrison, Tiffany Harrison Gutierrez, and Ashley Harrison Baker., and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Hwy 278, Union Point with good friend Rev. Thomas Burrell of Clayton, GA officiating.
