Helen Elizabeth Johnson Miller Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Johnson Miller, 91, of Elm St., died Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Wills Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Miller was born in Taliaferro County and had lived in this area for all of her life. She was the daughter of Horace Franklin Johnson and Ruby Eunice Edwards Johnson.She was the widow of Howard Edmund Miller, and worked as a Finance Clerk at Ft. Gordon for a number of years.She was a member of the Washington First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 11:00 Tuesday morning, May 10, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Taylor and Rev. Kevin Madden officiating.The family will receive friends Monday evening, May 9, from 6-8 at Hopkins Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Mickey Taylor, Mike Gibson, Scott Gibson, Len Gibson, Richard McAvoy, Brian Tench, Sterling Shealy, and Mark Tench. Mrs. Miller is survived by her two daughters, Dianne Gibson, of Union Point, and Chere Spinato, of Washington; nine grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
