Hazel K. Combs

Mrs. Hazel King Combs, 95, of Crawfordville, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 in Pruitt Health Care.A native of Crawfordville, she was the daughter of the late Omar S. and Fannie V. Ogletree King and the widow of Dorsey Carrol Combs.She was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Barry Smith and Brad Combs and one great grandchild, Benji Smith. Mrs. Combs was a retired seamstress and a member of Phillips Mill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Sunday, December 21st at 3:00pm, in Phillips Mill Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Woods officiating.Grandsons, Scott Smith, Todd Combs, Brandon Combs, Jason Combs, Craig Combs and Will Combs will serve as pallbearers.Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include one daughter and son in law, June and Edward Smith, of Washington; three sons and daughters in law, Carrol ‘Clayton’ and Linda Combs, of Grovetown, Dorsey D. and Mackie Combs, of Appling and Eddie L. Combs of Crawfordville; eight grandchildren, Scott Smith, Tammy Harlow, Krista Larusso, Todd Combs, Brandon Marcus Combs, Cindi Eber, Jason Combs, Craig Combs; and sixteen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday at the church before the service from 2:00 until service time.
