Hal Copeland Jones

Mr. Hal Copeland Jones, Jr., 69, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017, at his home in Metasville. Mr. Jones was born in Hazelwood, NC, but had lived most of his life in Wilkes County.He was the son of the late Hal Copeland Jones and Lois McClure Jones. Mr. Jones is survived by three brothers, James Jones (Margaret), of Washington; Ken Jones, of Greeneville, S C, and Steve Jones, of the Metasville Community; two sisters, Catherine J. Fender, of Washington, and Ann J. McAlister (Richard), of Tignall; and by a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 Tuesday morning, April 4, 2017, at the Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Paul Reviere officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8pm at Hopkins Funeral Home.
