Glenn Ralph Jones

Mr. Glenn Ralph Jones, 66, of the Lincolnton Rd. in Washington, entered into rest Saturday morning, March 13, 2021, in Athens. Mr. Jones was born in Wilkes County, and had lived in Washington for most of his life.He was the son of Harold and Emma Jean Thornton Jones, and worked as a salesman in the log cabin home sales industry.Glenn will be missed by his many friends, as he was a friend to all. He is survived by one son, Grif Newberry, and wife Jessica, of Lake Oconee; one daughter, Kristin Elise Bufford, of Washington; three grandchildren; his mother, Emma Jean T. Jones, of Washington; one sister, Joyce J. Bramlett, of Colbert; and one brother, Bobby Jones, and wife, Kathleen, of Tybee Island. There will be a memorial service planned at a later date. Hopkins Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Glenn R. Jones.
