George Hubbard Mr. George Willie Hubbard, 73, of Stephens, died February 24, 2012 in Nancy Hart Nursing Home.He was a native of Oglethorpe County, the son of the late Ernest and Maebell Bryant Hubbard.Mr. Hubbard was a retired self- employed logger. Graveside services will be Monday, February 27th at 2:00pm in the Finch Cemetery in Stephens with Rev. Mervin Arnold officiating.Paul Yearwood, Steve Yearwood, Bryan Yearwood, Scot Hubbard, Jamie Hubbard and Chris Hubbard will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include his wife, Gail Weaver, of Stephens; sons and daughters in law, Dewey and Sara Hubbard, of Stephens, Lewis and Christy Hubbard, of Stephens and Michael and Crystal Weaver, of Colbert; daughter, Debra Brown, of Gainesville;eightgrandchildren, Travis D. Hubbard, Devin Neal Hubbard, Derek Reid Hubbard, David Ryan Hubbard, Jeremiah Levi Weaver, Joe McAllister, Josh Brown and Jessica Brown; and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
