Gayle Short Hodgkin

Ms. Sara Gayle Short Hodgkin, 69 entered into rest Thursday evening, July 28, 2022, at Arbor Terrace Hamilton Hill Assisted Living in Dacula.

Ms. Hodgkin was born in Atlanta and had lived in the Atlanta area for most of her life.  She was the daughter of the late Richard and Gladys Nash Short.  She worked as a service representative for AT&T for a number of years, and was a member of 12 Stone Church in the Atlanta area.

She is survived by two daughters, Melanie Perry, and husband Clint, of Buford, and Kimberley Holland, and husband Steven, of Hoschton; and four grandchildren, Kobe Holland, Jordan Holland, Nick Perry, and Nash Perry.

Funeral services will be at 2:00p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2022, at the Sardis Baptist Church in Rayle with Rev. Eric Bunch officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at Sardis Baptist Church (1:00 - 2:00).

Pallbearers will be Clint Perry, Stephen Holland, Dennis Nash, Nash Perry, Nick Perry, and Kobe Holland.
