Garnett Henry Swann

Mr. GarnettSwann, 92, of Watkinsville, died Sunday, March 18, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens. He was a native of Rayle, the son of the late, Paul L. and Nancy Susan Maxwell Swann.Mr. Swann was a retired sales manager for Sears.He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Holtcamp Swann. Graveside services with military honors will be held Tuesday in Resthaven Cemetery at 2:00pm with Rev. Allen Danner officiating. Survivors include one sister, Nancy Barker, Watkinsville; two nieces, Helen S. (David) Harrell, Ocala, FL and Janice S. (Nick) Jones, Quitman; one nephew, Sammy (Teresa) Swann, Saluda, N.C.; and a close cousin, Jerri Helbring, Watkinsville.
