Franklin Howard Foster, Jr.

Franklin Howard (“Franky”) Foster, Jr., 55, formerly of Lawrenceville, Georgia, went to be with his Lord on November 3, 2023, in Wilkes County, Georgia, after a long illness. Mr. Foster was born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1968, to Cheryl Fulcher Foster and Franklin Howard Foster, Sr., currently of Danburg, Georgia. He is also survived by his wife, Tonya Black Foster, and son, Garrett John Foster, Lawrenceville, Georgia; sisters, Sharon (Craig) Foster Jones, Savannah, Georgia, and Virginia (Shane) “Ginny” King, Cumming, Georgia; five nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mr. Foster was known for his sense of humor and beautiful smile. He graduated from Norcross High School and Shorter University and worked as an executive in the HVAC industry in corporate sales. Mr. Foster was a leader in his field of work and a dynamic public speaker.

The funeral will be held at Fishing Creek Baptist Church, 1762 Sandtown Road, Washington, Georgia, at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 6, 2023. Friends and family may gather at the church prior to the funeral for visitation, beginning at 12:30 PM.

The family expresses their gratitude to Echols Personal Care Home and Bristol Hospice for their loving care at the end of Mr. Foster’s life.
