Frank Rosser Chafin

Mr. Frank Rosser Chafin, 76, of Skull Shoals Rd. in Washington, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018, at the Pruitt Health Care Facility. Mr. Chafin was a native of Washington and had lived here for most of his life.He was the son of Mr. George Rosser Chafin and Ruby Wilson Chafin.He had worked as an Operating Room Technician at Wills Memorial Hospital for a number of years, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.Frank was preceded in death by his son, Frank Dent Chafin. Mr. Chafin is survived by two grandchildren, Ruth and Boyd Chafin, both of Washington; one sister, Anne C. Gage, of Washington; one brother, William A. Chafin (Ann), of Washington; and by four nieces, three great nieces, and one great nephew. Graveside services will be 11:00am Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Resthaven Cemetery with Pastor Stephen Rayner officiating.
